the silver jews band is the brainchild of poet/musician david berman. a self destructive madman-genius who blends indie power chords with country twang and best of all, the words are brilliant. "the silver jews are true american originals and I think we should celebrate that with a stiff drink". check out the tunes below and by all means, pick up a copy of 'actual air', bermans superb book of prose.
