stiff little fingers are a punk band from belfast, northern ireland. they formed in 1977 and are still going strong -- despite several personnel changes. many of jake burns' politically charged lyrics, primarily themed around the northern ireland conflict, are gut wrenching punk rock anthems.
while the band really lost their edge in the late eighties, their early stuff is fantastic.
