i've always been a huge jay farrar fan. dating back to his time with the now legendary uncle tupelo and then transitioning to son volt, to his solo work and then ultimately back to son volt. his solo effort entitled 'terrior blues' was in my mind a stronger collection than his first solo offering, 'sebastopol'. check out some vintage farrar and buy the new son volt.
